Antique wood and recycled lumber often come from the deconstruction of old barns, warehouses, and old large buildings. They are the source for old growth antique lumber and recycled wood that is used in restoration and prized for character, size, strength and dense, straight grain.

This vintage recycled wood often comes from original stands of old growth forest and, as a result has unique architectural properties and character. It is perfect for use in a post and beam home as open ceiling beams, antique wood beams, timber flooring, millwork, furniture, and moldings. This antique lumber and old recycled wood is prized for its beauty and its dry, dense, firm nature.

Recycled lumber can be used as it comes from the de-construction site. This means designing with available dimensions and lengths and accepting character marks, bolt and nail holes, notches and the seasoning checks that result from being air -dried for many years. Pressure washing and brushing can clean up the surfaces while allowing the original character to remain.
